Coldcard is a Bitcoin-only hardware wallet by Coinkite, designed for security-maximalist users. Models: Coldcard Mk4 ($149), Coldcard Q (with display, ~$200). Famous for the “Air-Gap” mode — operating without ever connecting to a computer via SD card transfers only.
How it actually works
Open-source firmware. Dual secure elements (Mk4) and physical anti-tamper protections. Supports BIP-39 seed phrases plus advanced BIP-85 child seeds.
