How it actually works
zk-EVM with full Ethereum equivalence — any Ethereum smart contract deploys without modification. Uses recursive SNARKs for proof aggregation. Backed by ConsenSys’ extensive developer tooling (MetaMask, Infura, Truffle). Bridge transfers from Ethereum are gas-paid in ETH.
What it means for you
For HNW users active across L2s, Linea is worth including in the rotation. The ConsenSys backing provides operational comfort comparable to Base (Coinbase) and Arbitrum (Offchain Labs). Pre-token launch users active on Linea may be eligible for future airdrops, though terms have not been announced.
