1Money is a fintech platform launched in 2024 focused on stablecoin-native banking — IBAN accounts for receiving wires, multi-currency Visa cards, and direct integration with major stablecoins (USDC, USDT, PYUSD). Available in EU and select global markets.
How it actually works
Provides European IBAN accounts and Mastercard/Visa debit cards that operate on stablecoin balances directly. Cards convert stablecoins to fiat at point of sale with low FX margins (0.5%). Integration with Mercuryo and other on-ramps for fiat funding.
What it means for you
For HNW users with international banking needs and crypto allocations, 1Money provides a useful “crypto-as-cash” rail. Particularly valuable for users in countries where local banking is restrictive. Smaller and newer than Wirex/Crypto.com but the stablecoin-first design is operationally cleaner for crypto-native users.
