Olas (formerly Autonolas) is a protocol for autonomous on-chain AI agents launched in 2022. OLAS is the native token. Focuses on agents that can autonomously execute on-chain strategies — DeFi yield management, prediction markets, NFT trading — without human intervention beyond initial setup.
How it actually works
Developers build “Olas services” — composable agents performing specific tasks. Operators run nodes that execute these services. veOLAS staking provides governance and revenue share. The protocol has produced functional agents including Predict-AI (autonomous prediction-market trader) and various DeFi management bots.
